Fox News will not renew its contract with Sarah Palin, whose bombastic appearances have been a cable staple since the former Alaska governor’s failed run on John McCain’s ticket in the 2008 presidential election cycle. When asked for comment, a Fox News spokesperson confirmed the network had amicably parted ways with the governor on June 1.
Palin, 51, is expected to make occasional guest appearances on Fox and Fox Business, and will appear on other networks and cables. She has a show on the Sportsman Channel, does a lot of speeches, and will announce a new publishing project soon.

It makes Sarah’s admirable but badly misplaced loyalty to McCain all the more tragic.

I don’t watch it much at all anymore. Maybe the 6 o’clock news but Fox & Friends? While people are getting beheaded and our traditions are being trounced, they’re out on 6th Avenue grilling Mexican food. What a waste!

I honestly believe it was never McCain’s intention to win. I think the fix was in for Barry way before Palin came along. She was chosen to further insure McCain’s defeat. Little did TPTB realize just how her message would resonate with the decent people of this country. That was the point at which she was shackled. They thought she would be a joke. They don’t understand conservative people nor do they respect us.

She needs to separate herself from the GOPe and its media outlets like Fox News where she’s been used with prepared questions to steer the discussion the way the GOPe wants.
Fox News used her to get people in the tent, then they moved on to pitch the GOPe talking points with GOPe guests.

McCain ‘was’ and still is stupid. His display of self ego seems to have no bounds. His war experience was never more than what the vets of Corregidor endured as well as many other instances of war. My brother was killed on Okinawa in WWII and I view his death with more reverence than I do McCain’s continual play as a war hero.
Ehh... you know how it is, brother... the usual assortment of ticks, fleas, and assorted annoyances... But the legs held me up again one more day when I swung outta bed, so things are good. :^)

I think it was Sarah’s choice to cut back on her time on FOX..I think she has other plans to give her time to running for office of some sort..Like maybe VP for her favorite candidate or maybe running for a senate seat..
What ever she decides I am all for her.she might just want to take it easy and be with the family..

yes, and the medias immediately miscast the response. Sarah has her own on line site and she may well like too do things as she is moved to respond to current happening. Understandingly much of TV programing must be scheduled ahead. ... it can’t be left to hoping there is enough current items of interest daily to ad lib the news of the day. !!!

The fix is in;the media will(does) do everything in their power to destroy any true conservative. The media destroyed Dan Quayle over a simple spelling variance:potato AND potatoe were both accepted spelling at one time.
I have a good friend who still firmly believes Sarah said the things that were actually said by Tina Fey in those “comedy” skits.
I have co-workers who quietly lay something “inoffensive” on top of any conservative book (and certainly includes NRA publications),even those by black authors, that I might have in our shared workspace.It is not just old white men, but ANYONE who preaches traditional values ,that they consider offensive.
I expect Sarah Palin will continue to do shows and speeches ,trying to nudge the nation in the right direction,but is not going to undertake a major political campaign herself.

Timing is all important. The medias have been continually critical of Sarah. She is smart and firmly founded on strength of our nation, Constitution, and conservative common sense policy. SARAH is a great communicator, she is not cowered or afraid to speak for( WHAT IS GOOD FOR AMERICA}, all the while under the constant barbarism of criticism from all sources of medias. (Tells us how scared the progressive liberals are fearful of her strengths). ARE WE REALLY GOING TO GIVE UP AND SIMPLE LET THE LIBERALS COMPLETELY CHANGE OUR NATION INTO COMMUNISM?

Actually, I’ve grown more and more unhappy with the people on FOX. It’s the same RADICAL leftists who always show up for the panel discussions. But .. they don’t discuss .. they shout, talk over everybody; show contempt for every other statement; and sneer at the camera .. as if they were the be all, end all, of opinions.
All the other panelists (with few exceptions) are milk-toast Repubs, so squishy, I can’t watch them - and the MUTE button is really getting a workout.
And .. the final slap in the face to me is the ignoring of Ted Cruz; proving their leftist slant is well underway.
I saw this coming when the MSM starting letting their people go because of their LOW ratings. It was obvious to me that all those people would be heading over to FOX to find a job. Show by show, the total programming is quite different. Maybe other people don’t see it, but I’ve already given up on FOX.
So, as a result of this extreme leaning to the LEFT, I have stopped recording FOX (or really anybody). And, I have a very good station locally which I watch for my news; otherwise, I have the TV off.
