Well, it must be doing something to “cure” the “epidemic” of 20 somethings with some kind of “debilitating illness”.
That’s about the only demographic I see entering and leaving the local organic “health solutions” stores around here... /s

Mild pain killing is one thing. Cures are another altogether.

Our idiotic local news seems to have a “medical marijuana” report every week. Some tearful, maudlin mom of a sad child with ________ syndrome NEEDS medical marijuana, and those damn people in XXX department won’t let her have it!

Nothing new, most BS medical (M) tripe is invented by potheads, and who believes a pothead.
Would any intelligent person take stock tips from a pothead, or medical advice?

My mother died at 49 years old in 1979 of cancer. I bought illegal MJ for her. She never smoked it, but made tea, brownies and cookies. It eased her pain and gave her an appetite.
I tried it numerous times and it just never grew on me. My current belief is that it is damaging to ongoing users, but I hate what the WOD has done to us.

They go on the rampage against smoking cigarettes but think smoking marijuana is not bad for you because ‘people don’t smoke as much marijuana as they do a cigarette’.
Bunk.

Evidence was weak for many other conditionsMore precisely, "Most trials showed improvement in symptoms associated with cannabinoids but these associations did not reach statistical significance in all trials." Sick people seeking relief aren't too concerned about statistical significance.

Thank you for referencing that article LRoggy. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.
The titIe of the article is vague. I though that medical marijuana was intended to be a painkiller. Was it also promoted as a cure for some illnesses?
