Arresting Officers Bought Dylann Roof Some Burger King

Sixteen hours after killing nine people inside a Charleston, South Carolina, church, 21-year-old Dylann Roof was treated to a free meal from Burger King by the Shelby, North Carolina, police officers who arrested him. This is according to Shelby Police Chief Jeff Ledford, who told the Charlotte Observer that Roof complained of hunger before officers bought him the burger. Turns out he only had time for a single bag of chips while leading police on a manhunt.

Ledford said that Shelby police had two interactions with Roof: arresting him with guns drawn, and buying him lunch. They then turned him over to the FBI. As Ledford told Yahoo, "He did have something to eat while he was there, and he was secured in cuffs the entire time."

If it was up to any of the officers he would still be hungry.

And he would have a very bad headache.

Why can't the cops "screw up" with a guy like this instead of black gangsters?

Everbody knows they wanted to.

Cops feed prisoners in custody every damn day. Why is this a news story.

“Very smart thing for cops to do.
#1 Helps put him in frame of mind to talk.
#2 Lawyer cannot claim he only confessed to get food, was mistreated, low blood sugar, etc.”

...and there is a LOT to talk about, at least at that time. Was he alone? Did he have help in buying the weapons? Was he on drugs? Perhaps a new drug that causes that kind of reaction (like PCP in the 80s)? A rather endless list, seems that the cops were handling it fine. Plenty of time to give him the drip (assuming SC can get their hands on the meds).

Another hot scoop from the MSM. Ranks right up there with the story of Rubio’s fishing “yacht”.

Like I said “Just Working it”.

Been through it over the last 3 years.

I’ll be fine in 3 more and it’ll never happen again.

I figure about another 7 or 8 for me— maybe, maybe longer and then I’m done. The wife’s collecting SS but still working 12-hour shifts as a nurses aide. Thank you Barrack Obama.

They folded back in the mid to late 90’s.

IIRC they were a slightly classier Home Depot but not quite a HD Expo.

No kidding. Don’t think we had them here in Jersey. Not surprising . This state loves business like a dog loves fleas.
