Sixteen hours after killing nine people inside a Charleston, South Carolina, church, 21-year-old Dylann Roof was treated to a free meal from Burger King by the Shelby, North Carolina, police officers who arrested him. This is according to Shelby Police Chief Jeff Ledford, who told the Charlotte Observer that Roof complained of hunger before officers bought him the burger. Turns out he only had time for a single bag of chips while leading police on a manhunt.
Ledford said that Shelby police had two interactions with Roof: arresting him with guns drawn, and buying him lunch. They then turned him over to the FBI. As Ledford told Yahoo, "He did have something to eat while he was there, and he was secured in cuffs the entire time."

The little putz will probably be the arrest of a lifetime. Why shouldn’t they buy him lunch? He is going away forever to be all Bubba’s.

So what is the nutty left to think. Should the cop be charged with abuse for feeding him evil fast food?
Or is he to be charge with aiding and abetting a hate crime?
I’m guessing that the point of this story is to highlight a difference between the treatment of white arrestees and those who are black.
So now they get fired for buying him a hamburger?
If they hadn’t done it it would have been “police brutality.”

I was thinking along the same line.
If they hadn’t fed him a slimy lawyer would have screamed bloody murder before the scumbag even sees a judge.
This jerks conviction HAS to be without blemish.
I read he was going to execute himself, but got “lucky” and hit an empty chamber.
Reminds me of a movie I saw about one of the first murderous rampages in the 70’s, I think it was in the San Jose area. After murdering several of his coworkers the cops surrounded the building and demanded he surrender. His only request was they buy him a sandwich from Togo’s, and chips and drink too. He was hungry after all that exhausting bloodshed.
On the other hand, if they got a confession, I suppose his lawyer could then argue that his client (who can’t be a mental giant) was coerced or bribed into doing so by the offer of a Burger King meal.
Sure he did. He has the Gov. of South Carolina attacking the Confederate Battle Flag!
