Our central air conditioning system finally wore out. We replaced it with two affordable window AC units. We don’t keep them running at full tilt; but it IS bearable here inside the house. I’m too old to suffer if I don’t have to.
If another person can tell me that I am or am not a Christian by my vocation, then we are back to the days when only the Jews could lend money at interest, for to lend money at interest, no Christian could do so for a time.
Is it not my heart and my belief in Jesus that makes me a Christian? Of course I am a sinner. Jesus died on the cross to give me the grace a forgiveness I need.
Do gun manufacturer’s, assuming they sin, not receive the blessings of the Crucification simply because they are gun manufacturers?

Rush on fire about the flag. And he’s right about everything.
Can't hear him, but he's only right if he defends the use of flying the confederate flag. I feel like were book burning and striking from history anything that isn't leftist. I'm amazed how the GOP is lining up to eliminate and blame a flag, a flag that doesn't kill.

The only thing I associate the Confederate Battle Flag with is an orange Dodge Charge and a couple of good ol’ boys.
I associate the lost battle for State’s rights with that flag. Slavery would have soon ended. Indeed, it was ending as the war began. More freed slaves fought for the South than for the North. The passing of slavery here is good. The passing of States is not good.
