All this Trump bashing by both sides simply confirms what I have believed for a long time. The political class is a closed club. It is ruled by the two parties.
They pretend to hate each other. But that is only for public consumption. The D establishment and the R establishment really need each other.
They have a very powerful, convenient and self serving hold on the political process. The talking heads on both sides are given “temporary member status” allowing them access and thus a platform to promote themselves and their networks.
Donald Trump is an outsider. He is most definitely not part of the establishment. He is a powerful wild card in the deck, and he is making heads explode.

Great....let him serve a term as mayor or governor so we can see where he really stands. As far as I’m concerned it’s all an ego trip for him (or possibly worse.)

Yes The Donald is certainly spinning the uniparty heads for sure. He is also dominating the social media.

In addition, Donald can get away with saying things that a politician can’t.

Closed club, no outsiders allowed to join in the "screw the working public" gang. Trump threatens the status quo because he has his own money and knows he won't win so there's no downside - where he'd actually have to "govern" -
