Credit Mark Levin with bursting the Trump bubble. Just last week he was the first voice on the right to thoroughly dissect Trumps history of political activity (donations to Hillary, Weiner, Rahm, Schumer and others).
He was also the first to ask a number of important questions about Trumps world view, including, What does he think about Kelo? The Club for Growth is out today with the answer directly from Trump himself from 2005 on Fox News.
I happen to agree with it 100 percent, not that I would want to use it. [note below, he would actually want to use it]

The real sin is that the developer never went through with it.
It is the law that should be changed. It is unfortunate that too few people are working to do so.
I get sick of folks repeatedly proclaiming Trump as the Conservative great white hope when he is anything but that. Glad that Mark finally popped this annoying balloon.
If he wants to be a politician, why can't he cut his teeth on the mayoralty of NYC? He might make a good mayor - he'd bring back Stop & Frisk. After all, no one was more enraged about The Central Park Jogger rape that The Donald.
The larger issue are people who identify with someone for some reason and then cherry-pick or ignore facts that don’t fit their decision. This is not just about Trump. That type of thinking shows up on the left and the right and all points in between.
And Scalia-and Thomas didn't know that?
I don't like the law or its effect, but it isn't prohibitive to Trump's potential to be US President. He's a guy who gets the job done.
Strangely, the braindead left fell for that. I can't believe any FReeper would fall for Trump.
I agree. But theres evidently a lot of patriots who still dont understand constitutional division of federal and state government powers.
More specifically, unlike the federal government which is constitutionally limited to take land only for public use, many patriots dont seem to understand that the states dont need an excuse when they take private property. But the states now have to compensate the former landowner for the land because of the 14th Amendment
Its up to the citizens of a given state to work with their state lawmakers to make laws to prevent cases like the Kelo case from happening again. But since they dont know about state powers they probably havent done so.
The Supreme Court shouldn't rule on how the law was written. They should rule on the constitutionality of the law. The decision should have been overturned by the 4th amendment. Almost every property in the United States could be put to better use for taxing purposes if it comes right down to it. Allowing property to be taken from one private citizen and given to another is an affront to the principles on which the Revolutionary War was fought.
Well said.
Eminent domain should never be used for anything other than public infrastructure and then its one time I think government should pay at least a few percent above assessed value.
I don’t agree with Kelo, but in the whole scheme of things it’s a small issue. If we don’t stop the invasion of illegals and the globalist destruction of American sovereignty we won’t have a country. We need an American nationalist, and Trump seems to be the only one running.
That's what got us here. Presidents who "get the job done." You know, "Leaders".
The President is supposed to be a public servant with few duties. But, we've made them gods/kings and we lost our republic.
Funny, how the propagandists going on about eminent domain omit how much money people get out of those deals.
“...nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation” (Amendment 5 to the U.S. Constitution).
Finish the Keystone XL pipeline!
Good point. There isn’t a perfect candidate. But if we don’t shut down the invasion of America, all other issues become irrelevant.
Gov of NYC is probly what he hopes to get of running for president.
His rabid capitalistic blood lust is appealing to conservatives but he jumped the shark with his big money backing of liberals to aid himself personally through the political process.
