Paedophiles
This one seems like a particularly dark and grisly thriller. At first it was just a few rubbish light entertainers. Then it was a lot more entertainers. Then we had people muttering about the political establishment and others counter-muttering dont be ridiculous, thats a conspiracy theory. But it wasnt. Now, its a slow-motion train crash and an endless series of glacial government inquiries.

These days conspiracy theories dont look so crazy and conspiracy theorists dont look like crackpots. In fact, todays conspiracy theory is tomorrows news headlines. Its tempting, I suppose, to say we live in a golden age of conspiracy theories, although its only really golden for the architects of the conspiracies. From the Iraq war to Fifa to the banking crisis, the truth is not only out there, but its more outlandish than anything we could have made up.Walter Cronkite (globalist): "(I'm) proud to sit at the right hand of Satan."

“Blood is spilled and treasure is spent.”
Who started this whole “blood and treasure” talking point? Those specific words, repeated ad nauseum.

More recently, Iraq, now in a far worse state than it ever was under any dictator, Can't be. The Left isn't protesting anymore and said that US leadership over Iraq was worse than Saddam being in charge, raping women, disemboweling wives, and lopping off the hands of prisoners.

Does it really take an investigative genius to figure out there was something wrong with these guys?

Weve seen the phrase blood and treasure a lot lately, but its an age-old poetic expression meaning lives and money. Its generally been used in reference to the high price of war or conquest.
The expression seems to have been fairly common in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The earliest references weve been able to find appeared in the 1640s.
Passages from the proceedings of the House of Lords include the Blood and Treasure that hath been spent (1646) and, reversing the formula, with great Expence both of their Treasure and Blood (1643).
