Both the Federal Government and the states are important, because when states were too important, you have the failed system known as the Articles of Confederation. The failed system where every state adopted it’s own currency. The failed system where state militias were pretty much pathetic and couldn’t keep order so that people could take a riot to the state and cause some pretty serious chaos (Shays’ rebellion) I personally detest a lot of the policy decisions by BOTH the State and Federal governments right now, but the real problem isn’t the Federal Government so much as the fact that so MUCH of the American populace has gone so far down in terms of integrity, morality, and honor, that the Republic as a whole pretty much gets dragged down with them. I hate to say it to you, but right now the state governments in many cases are just as bad as the Federal Government.
Let’s agree to disagree on that one.
Lets agree to disagree on that one.
The U.S. Constitution written down codified and chartered for ONE REASON....
One Reason ONLY....
To LIMIT the federal givernment.. not to expand it..
The entire purpose of it was to HAMSTRING the federal WHALE...
To lock it up in a straight jacket.. make it’s laws very difficult to pass..
OTHER than that the U.S. Constitution does NOT have a reason to exist..
Which is exactly WHY? democrats despise it..
