On June 20 former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney called for South Carolina to remove the Confederate flag from their state Capitol grounds in Columbia.
His call comes in the wake of the heinous attack on Charlestons Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. It follows a photo of the suspected gunman, Dylann Roof, in which Roof is seen leaning against his car with a Confederate flag license plate visible on the front of his vehicle being widely circulated.
Here were Romneys exact words: Take down the Confederate Flag at the SC Capitol. To many, it is a symbol of racial hatred. Remove it now to honor Charleston victims.

And this cycle when Jeb gets the nom it will be ABH and all the same end of America justifications to vote for him. Forger that he gave the POS a medal. Forget his pro illegal crap. None of that will matter. Again.
And then when he loses, the crying and justifications and never again and all the other outright BS will begin anew. Because some people are just plain liberal to begin with. Actions speak louder than words.

Start there.
Sorry Mitt

Intense, how could you miss the most intense years during the last decade, and what were described as purges?
You ask for names, why? You signed up here in 2004 and you missed the primaries for 2008 and 2012, and now you want freepers to start accusing and posting names and pinging hostile freepers by the dozens to this thread?
Just paint yourself clueless.
Who is responsible for the Confederate flag flying at the South Carolina Capitol? Democrats. When the flag was first raised in 1961/1962, ALL 124 of the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives were Democrats. And the governor — Ernest Frederick Hollings — was a Democrat.
Take it down. It’s the right thing to do, to undo the work of those Democrats that raised it in the first place.
Why not name names. It’s not like they are ashamed. They still do it.
Let the DNC admit in public they unanimously flew it. Then we’ll talk.
Mitt Romney and John McCain were liberal dream opposition candidates. They were a “heads I win, tails you lose” Democrat campaign. I sure hope 2016 does not end up a repeat of that.
The confederate flag is not a racist symbol except to those who co-opt it for that. The decision belongs to the states.
Sometimes feelings can become unrealistic just because people let their emotions lead.
And the flag of Massghanistan features an Indian. Isn’t that racist, Mitt?
Thanks for your comment...Mitt Romney is certainly not a mainstream conservative who believes all Americans have the right to honor their ancestors in any way they see fit. What he also does not realize is that we vote...and there are more than a couple of million of us who had ancestors who fought and died in that war to repulse an illegal invasion...we will never vote to elect an establishment republican with his skewed attitudes toward the south...and let me remind us all, those boys that came from Michigan and Ohio and other northern states never heard that they were coming down to give their lives to free slaves...that is hogwash.
That would be "Native American", and yes it is. :-P
Gee whiz South40, are you talking about me?
Nice of you to Ping me since I am now the subject of your ridicule.
I asked you to back up your original allegation by providing the Names of those here who supported Romney in the Primaries.
I even admitted, oh the Horror, to Voting for Romney in the General Election because I simply HATE Obama and what he has done to our beloved Country and I feared a Second Obama Term could be the Death Blow to the Republic..
I don’t really pay attention to the latest Romney comments, he lost the Election and I’ve moved on. Unfortunately, many here want to keep the flame alive as if Romney is still in the running. His Ship has sailed and it only benefits the Rats to try and keep him relevant.
Now, back to my original point.
Was my request somehow rude? As I said in my earlier Post, I don’t recall seeing anyone here who promoted Romney during the Republican Primaries or admitted Voting for him until the General Election.
I could be wrong, so based on your allegation, it appears YOU are the one who could clear this up by providing the information.
I will expect an Apology or the Information I requested.
FUMR
The Constitution means nothing to the Republicans and Democrats of the Uniparty, absolutely nothing.
The First Amendment....the Second Amendment......the Fourth Amendment.
And they expect us to be in a frothing frenzy over Hillary and vote for Jeb because he’s better.
There is no difference between 95 percent of Republicans and Democrats in the end, none.
Gee Ansel, was I talking to you?
Yeah, I’ve only been here ELEVEN Years so I must be Clueless. Just a Babe lost in the FR Woods. Geez.
Try channeling your wrath to our Enemies on the Left.
Typo. “The Stars And Bars are not a symbol of racism’’
Guess he’s ok with the black panther flag?.
Your ancestor fought to preserve slavery and Balkanize the nation. Mine fought yours and won the war your ancestors started.
Correcting a typo from the earlier Post.
Was my request somehow rude? As I said in my earlier Post, I dont recall seeing anyone here who promoted Romney during the Republican Primaries or admitted Voting for him until the General Election.
Revised:
>>Was my request somehow rude? As I said in my earlier Post, I dont recall seeing anyone here who promoted Romney during the Republican Primaries THOUGH MANY HERE admitted Voting for him IN the General Election.<<
