I don’t know about you, but living on the East Coast, I am going to Fort Constantine to get the T-51 B before that senile dude named Crowley does, that and the Alien Blaster.

I see, when SHTF, the majority of all nukes will still be Russian and American. But Iran will get blown sky high just to be sure.

What, you mean the Al Sharpton of Fallout? I don’t trust him anyway. I hear he had some shady dealings with some crazy ‘sovereign citizen’ gun nut bigamist up north. His batcrap crazy Russian buddy is no prize either. Foot setishist or something. The dude creeps me out.

I know a guy that would be interested in the blaster though. We worked out a deal. I bring him junked tech and he keeps me supplied with stimpacks.

Bigamist? Dave was a hardcore polygamist with four wives.

But what can I say, I liked the fact that Fallout finally moved to the Eastern U.S. with Fallout 3. I did like the first two, but I was glad to finally show how the area where I used to live looked like after getting nuked.

Four? You sure about that? The only other females in the compound are the teacher and the kids. I never saw a refrence in game that the teacher was a concubibe. Could be I guess.

I live near Vegas and it’s interesting to see how closely the geography resembles the real thing in FNV. If you know Vegas, it’s easy to navigate the game on memory alone.

I used to be a regular visitor at the Vegas BLM office. Back then (97-2001ish) it was spit. Half semi same rangers and half Sierra Club card carriers. Literally.

But they were all intent on as many closures as the head office could send them whether they agreed with us or not. Most of the areas we fought tooth and nail for are locked up tight. We did our best to get the word out and to stop them. Very few people cared. they just found a new hobby. And thats why the Govt. always wins. No one has any fight left. Too many cool shows on TV!

Today sure. But back then it was simple laziness and the belief in “Oh well...”

Had the ones in the BLM opposed had any integrity they’d have exposed it and quit. A job or your rights is a far easier choice than the one facing the founders. Even today.

Very much the same in Fallout 3 as someone who lived in Bethesda, Maryland, and visited D.C. A few times. But I will be honest though. I actually enjoyed playing in the first person in a Fallout game. I was alright with New Vegas.

I like 3 better as well. I love them both but yea, 3 is superior.

Neither holds a candle to Skyrim for me, but that said, it’s a matter of inches. Sky is a 10, 3 is a 9.5 and NV is a 9. My kid emailed me a note saying she preordered F4 for me so I can now die knowing I raised her properly ;)

I’m from the Tri-Lakes of the Adirondacks originally so I am really interested in how F4 is going to handle that sort of terrain (upper east coast). Yea Mass ain’t the mountain capital of America but it’s got the forrests. From what I read it’s twice the size of Skyrim and Todd Howard was quoted as some of the devs put 400 hours in without doing/’completing’ the whole game.

Gonna be fun ;)

Heard there might be vehicles. If so, I hope that the cars are limited in fuel, as well as require repairs. That and Three Dog from F3 may be back. I loved him as the radio DJ.

GNR is in the posters and the guy voicing 3Dog said a while ago he may be back. Then he said he ‘misspoke’ ;) Yea, he[s there. I’d bet on it. I hope they have a big soundtrack brfore mods. I’m an 80s metalhead (Iron Maiden...accept no substitutes) but I LOVE that Ink Spots style/era music.

I’d think vehicles will be there just because of the sirship in the video Whatever tech powers that should power cars as well. Logically, It’s MIT. They ought to be able to make a car run on their home turf.

One of us says the entire concept of what the "Dark Ages" meant has been mythologized, and I have given you four books by reputable scholars to prove it and you give me nothing but words. Keep workin.

I'll try again: Read Rodney Stark, "The Victory of Reason," a study of what actually happened in the so-called Dark Ages. Ask yourself who named it the "Dark Ages" (hint: liberals trying to puff themselves up during the Enlightenment while denying---there's your warmism---the achievements of the Church. Now PLEASE read something before you reply.

Here’s a better idea. You explain why it is that every school, every college, every everything recognizes and teaches the idea of “The Dark Ages.”

Your problem is with a term. Not history. There’s not a lot I can do about that. It’s a fact of history that the wars, diseases and God help us all, climate all depressed large swaths of Europe. Of COURSE there were moments of light in the darkness. I don’t deny that. But History happened.
