Dem Strategist: ‘I Cannot Imagine the Horror That Could’ve Occurred’ if Churchgoers Were Armed During Charleston Massacre
Longtime Democratic strategist Bob Shrum said on MSNBC Friday that he “cannot imagine the horror that could’ve unfolded” if churchgoers were armed during the recent massacre in Charleston, South Carolina.

“I cannot imagine the horror that could’ve occurred if people were sitting around with concealed weapons, this thing started and you had a full-scale gunfight,” Shrum said Friday. “You might not even have three survivors.”

This has to be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard. Maybe that little sh*t would be dead and maybe he’d be the only one. I doubt the worshippers would have shot each other. This man must be an imbecile.

The local SWAT cop that taught our concealed carry class did security consulting for churches and synagogues. He strongly urged them NOT to be gun free zones. Just made them targets. Larger ones were urged to have a security plan, to include armed agents on campus. For smaller congregations that couldn’t afford it, he recommended the leadership find willing, reliable people to come armed, legally with CC permits, to services.
His observation was the the CC process weeded out the loose cannons, and that they were almost uniformly bedrock solid citizens. He said his BP went down 10 points at each traffic stop where the driver handed over the CC permit with the drivers license.
My husband had a conversation with a co-worker a couple of months ago and she was firm in her belief that armed citizens would mean slaughtered innocent bystanders in situations like this. From another planet is right!
Rick’s Firearm Academe in Detroit regularly gives weapons training to church groups.
One white kid 21 years old, sitting with a small number of black church people who all know each other, and are inside their own church.
So if he pulls out a gun and starts killing them, they can’t identify the guy that they need to shoot?

The Bolivian army would be sorry they came to church that day!
Some churches would need to ban them from bossiness meeting. Other than that cool. Do you think gun racks on the pews would be tacky?
