Donald Trump declares war on lying, street-hustlers of Congress
Washington Times ^ | 6-16-2015 | Charles Hurt

Posted on 06/19/2015 5:36:13 PM PDT by sheikdetailfeather

Finally, a serious and truly experienced contender. Donald Trump and his $9 billion just made the biggest splash of the 2016 presidential race.

By the time the seas stop sloshing back and forth, there may not be a drop of water left over for anybody else to float a rowboat.

Of course, what you heard from Washington and the elite political set in both parties Tuesday was snickering and laughing and scoffing. All the old jokes about The Donald's cheesy style. His crazy orange combover. His penchant for grand statements spoken bluntly with and exclamation point that is often dotted by his very own finger in the air.

And, yes, he descended down to his kickoff at Trump Towers via a glass escalator. It was shopping mall glamorous.

As presidential announcements go, it was brilliant. It was simple, and it was patriotic.

No sun-splashed park with throngs of rented people jammed around an H-shaped stage. No fake columns.

Just a stage and a velvet blue curtain and a podium. Flanked by American flags carefully folded to show both stars and stripes, Mr. Trump wore a simple uniform of red tie, white shirt, blue suit. Red, white and blue.

Get it? Red, white and blue? America's colors? The flag? In other words, Mr. Trump loves America. Get it?

“Why can’t he start with the other lying street hustler from Kenya?”

A reasonable question given the circumstances. At least *start* with the occupants of the various driver’s seats, (Bark and Howl-lary) and then he can roll on over to the Establishment %hore house.

The street hustler still hasn't filed with the FEC.

So, what? The rules say he has at least fifteen days after he first spends $5,000 promoting his candidacy, which comes to July 1. 2015 at the earliest since he could not have been promoting an undeclared candidacy before June 16.

A lot more could be done as well. Our options are dwindling, it's time to use them

Are you going to lead or just lecture?

Trump didn’t file the bureaucratic federal paperwork yet? Oh my.

Hey, they’re might be a glimmer of hope for the corrupt bureaucrats yet!

If he does file in time, they need to come up with some D.C. style back room dirty tricks. Set him up. These people wrote the book on the techniques of harassment and slander.

If all else fails, hit Trump with an IRS audit!!!

Does he have to file?

He’s so rich that the FEC files for him.

He’s so rich that he can skip a hair appointment and still wave from the top of his head.

(How’d I do for a rookie?)

Are you going to lead or just lecture?

Is there something in #16 which is not truthful or accurate?

He'd have lots of very powerful tools available to him. No?

But if ya want me to lead, I'll volunteer to be Trumps Director of the Department of Transportation. I'll make damn sure many of those bloated dead weight bureaucrats in D.C. get a ride back to where they came from. Quickly and cheap.

File, don’t file. Who cares? I don’t get too excited by a candidate that had to pay people to show up at his announcement speech.

I didn’t know that. Thanks for posting the rule.

I heard Biden could get in as late as March, 2016, if he is recovered from his loss and if Hillary falters.

IF Hillary falters! I’s say she is faltering, when her hubby compliments our field as accomplished and intelligent, and that there is a TRUST deficit with the people.

Can you believe he said that? I think he fears a Hillary presidency, like the plague.

Does someone have to file with the FEC if they do not accept any contributions, nor assign contributions to anyone?

OK, so we now know about your big issue.

So feel free to vote for the dozen or so career bureaucrats on the stage. Combined they probably have been on the government payroll for 350 years.

I have no problem with you doing that.

Good luck. Cheers.

He says he has hired staff which triggers the requirement.

Trump says he is serious about 2016 bid, is hiring staff and delaying TV gig

In recent days, Trump said, he has hired staffers in key primary states, retained an election attorney and delayed signing on for another season as host of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” because of his political projects.

Trump keeps this up, the GOP-E and Dem DUmmies are going to be wrecked in a short order and then obliterated into fine mists within a year.

When Trump speaks seriously to American voters, he will win.
His message resonates in the heart of every true American already.

Not sure what Slick thinks. But he was bemoaning the fact that the 'trust deficit' actually made some Americans question the motives of how they handle Clinton foundation money. Of course, that trust deficit is entirely unwarranted where they are concerned, according to Slick.

I bet he does want to be back in the White House.
