Two police officers who were at last weeks Group of Seven (G7) summit in Germany face disciplinary action for playing over the radio an excerpt of a wartime speech by Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi minister of propaganda, German news magazine Der Spiegel reported. [ ]
Five days before the start of the G7 summit, the officers broadcast via private radios an infamous 1943 speech in which Goebbels asks a large audience gathered in Berlin: Do you want total war?

Is there still some hidden fondness for the fuhrer among some in Germany?
or was it just two idiots?
I’m confused. Two officers broadcast a speech, presumably from one of their radios to another so two were involved. Only one actually transmitted the speech. Why is this even a footnote? Why is any action being taken?
Maybe it helped the socialist attendees to channel their inner Goebbels.
Maybe it was commentary on the participants?
The Big Lie (often attributed to Gobbels though the term appeared much earlier in Mein Kampf)... Here in America, we don’t need to channel either Gobbels or Hitler. We have a Big Lie administration far closer to home...
But we can still learn something useful from Herr Gobbels:
If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
He was right, but not in the way he meant.
i thought that for a minute too. might make more sense.
I gotta laugh a little on this one. Funny, years after WW II many Germans still know the words to the WW II marching songs. Former Glory I guess, their military in the 80’s, when I did tours there, didn’t look anything like the ones on the history channel. I expect to see and hear more of this kinda news, since the Gov’t. has allowed the sale of Mein Kampf, after years of censorship.
Not so hidden.
Remember, there was only five years of “de-Nazification” of Germany, three performed by the USA and two by Adenauer (or so he said); then Adenauer declared the process “over” (not “complete”, take note).
And remember all the reports of neo-Nazism mostly in the east once reunification occurred?
Nah, all the alpha males were exterminated in WWII.
De-Nazification basically involved dumping a bunch of Turks and other Turd-Worlders on Germany.
although it would seem very remote, one can never say never. It seems anti Israel sentiment is still pretty strong, actually in several parts of Europe.
Well that doesn't make them special, we have plenty right here at home.
This was from a better speech that Hitler gave after he had all of the fags from the SA shot.
“If anyone reproaches me and asks why I did not resort to the regular courts of justice, then all I can say is this: In this hour I was responsible for the fate of the German people, and thereby I became the supreme judge of the German people!”
” Funny, years after WW II many Germans still know the words to the WW II marching songs.”
And I often cut loose with a rousing version of Dixie.
I wish our guys here would vote a little more republican, but talk about a group that doesn’t bother anybody.
You don’t exactly look over your shoulder walking through a Jewish neighborhood :)
And Israel is just fighting to hold on to one tiny piece of land in that huge region.
geez. cut them some slack.
Jut watched a German TV mini series called Generation War,which was mainly about the Eastern Front. All during it...and during oher documentaries on Hitler vs Stalin...all I can think about is “if only *both* sides could have lost that battle”.
Even a hint of nationalism, patriotism is frowned on by globalist who are busy flooding entire continents with tens of millions of foreign nationals, illegals, Muslims etc. This includes the U.S., Europe etc. The globalist have no use for united, sovereign independent countries. It makes them more difficult to control. In this case they used some minor insignificant incident and inflated it into a world wide news story.
Didn’t help that FDR for a great while was all for one side with respect to that.
