Only 51 Senators voting “No” stops it from sailing through. The same occurs in the House if they don't get their majority. We can stop a fast-tracked agreement at either place, and we know that happens because the House stopped the very bill allowing this, this week.

We can't stop ANYTHING in DC that only requires a majority. Enough votes can be bought off on any given issue to get it passed. And once it's passed, the pres can ignore the parts his puppetmasters don't like and the courts can veto anything that protects US citizens.
To try to sell us on "don't worry, a majority can stop it" here on FR is disingenuous at best. Probably closer to an arrogant insulting of our intelligence and level of awareness.

Nope, the threshold is 60 votes, which is the trick that Hatch put into the bill, which virtually make it impossible to stop anything Obama presents before the Senate. And Hatch knows that, and presumably Cruz.
