Literally every legitimate shot candidate in the race has supported and even lobbied foreign nations for this. The fact that they all slink away and watch from cover doesn't impress me nearly as much as the man who stands in the open fighting it out.

I have plenty of mixed feelings about these trade deals but I also believe Ted Cruz would negotiate far more equitable trade deals with foreign nations than anyone else in the race.

I'm getting a really bizarre feeling that Freepers feel than nothing will change no matter who is elected so lets destroy Cruz. They seem more interested in someone telling them what they want to hear so they can feel good for a while and we'll worry about broken promises later. Its not sensible or rational but people in groups seldom are.

Personally I trust Cruz to put real effort into keeping his promises. The fact that the establishment absolutely hates him makes me feel like they believe he'll carry out his threats and promises too.

Your ad for “Toast (by his own mouth)” Cruz
says that he will “tell you what you want to hear”.

So did Romney. So did Obama.

Cruz FAILED and supported(supports) SECRECY
and a sellout of the Constitution and American people.
How much will his wife be rewarded in bonuses,
inquiring minds ask.

There's quite a bit of irony in you posting a graphic with a line like "A candidate who gives you the unsweented truth comes along once in a lifetime," in a thread based on a statement by Cruz that's full of untruths, half-truths and lies of omission.

This isn't about Cruz becoming a "moderate" or any similar argument. It's about Cruz losing his credibility by showing himself to be just another opportunistic politician, which removes a key point of differentiation between him and many of the other candidates.

This misses the point. Obama is not to be trusted with anything more substantial than a putter. Giving him the opportunity to negotiate away our nation by creating an EU among third world nations (and others)is not my idea of smart. Can he be stopped? Nothing yet has demonstrated he can.
I like Cruz. I like him a lot. He is not yet the prez and as a lowly senator he does not have the clout to stop Obama. Obama is the problem, not Cruz.
These negotiations have gone on for 6 years. They can continue for another 2. Let’s get the fascists out of government before giving government more power.

Too bad Ted and Marco couldn’t just draw up a bill and put it in the hopper that lowers the corporate tax rate to 7.5% and brings billions of off shore money back into the US. No free trade agreement needed.

I trust Cruz.

But Washington is a “twisted wilderness of mirrors”. Reality is distorted to the point that liberty is dying while everyone cheers.

We must never forget:

Somewhere within boundaries of illusion, lies & deception is reality of Modern Day Liberalism.

It will take a balance of tough old heads and quick young leaders to defeat those who would destroy US.

So we have a situation wher if a candidate isn’t 100% on every single issue then they are total garbage?

Cruz is out front on everything he is about, he IMO is as good as it gets folks.

The sense that nothing will change is very sad, and yet after 6 years of the rodeo clown prince, I can hardly blame some our our folks here. I have to keep hoping because if we can’t bring it back from the abyss our children will suffer Imeasurably.
