The talks can be “private”, except, the American people don’t want it that way this time.
We are a self-governing people who elect representatives to do what we want done.
This time, we don’t want private or secret. That’s our right.

Read the article and the guy makes a lame argument. He likens the secret negotiations to buying a house. Well maybe but the buyers of the house are the American public and we want to know what house we are buying before we buy it, not after. What an idiot.
