Not necessarily true. Obama has enough powers that have already been granted to the executive branch to destroy this nation. He's been doing a pretty bang up job of it without consulting congress.

No. Quite frankly, TPA is not constitutional. Trade agreements are treaties and the method for approval of treaties is specified in the constitution. You can't draft a law that changes the treaty provisions of the constitution. But nobody pays any attention to the Constitution anymore. Not even Ted Cruz. Just call the treaty a trade agreement and you can avoid all the complications of that dreaded constitution.
