“Besides, no president should have the power to sign secret deals or near secret deals. What were we thinging!?”
The president couldn’t make secret trade deals. Any trade deal would have to go to congress for an up or down vote - they couldn’t add amendments, the vote would be up or down on the trade deal.

I saw that up or down vote the same way as TURNING THE TREATY PROVISION on its head with his secret Iran deal. Instead of having to provide 2/3 vote of the Senate to ratify the "G9ve Iran a Nuke Bomb" treaty, the Congress will now have to provide a 60+ vote total to just stop the Iran Treaty. No chance of that happening with the current makeup of a Senate filled with RINOs, NOR is it what the Constitution states on ratifying treaties.
It pains me to say that this current crop of Gelding Old Party leaders is causing just as much damage as the when the RATs ran the Congress.
Please name how many pledges and promises the GOP has kept since winning in Nov 2009. Start with the CR passed in Feb 2010 after pledging to CUT $100 BILLION in the first year alone. Then move on to all the other promises - I wonder if anyone has been keeping a list of GOP lies.
