But you obviously didn’t hear Ted’s interview. The vote does lower down, but it also brings in the House to vote as well. Ted explains exactly why and where the Constitution dictates this. The House should have a say when revenue generation is involved, and tariffs are just that. This lowers the Senate vote but includes the House of Representatives. That actually is bringing more input. The House represents the people’s voice.

I heard Ted Cruz give a BS excuse for his vote on TPA. Specifically that if Congress retains its authority to amend trade agreements no trade deals would ever get done. That is patently false on its face. We got NAFTA done and GW Bush got some 11 trade deals through on his watch.

So Ted Cruz is just not credible at this point. Fortunately he has very little chance to secure the GOP nomination for President.

And it should be killed in the Senate!

I don't trust the House to kill this after putting so much into getting it passed.
