A Former Muslim's Grave Warning to America: The Violent Acts Cannot be Divorced from the Religion

Islam "has begotten a bloodthirsty ideology that is determined to destroy the principles of liberty and humanity and basic decency," ex-Muslim and activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali said June 3 at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Hirsi Ali knows what she's talking about. Born in Mogadishu, Somalia, she was raised Muslim. She spent her childhood and young adulthood in Africa and Saudi Arabia. She fled as a refugee to the Netherlands in 1992, where she earned a political science degree and was elected to the Dutch House of Representatives. After the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Hirsi Ali renounced Islam.

Last week she accepted an award from the Milwaukee-based Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, which prides itself on "strengthening American democratic capitalism and the institutions, principles and values that sustain and nurture it."

Some in the conservative movement refer to the annual Bradley Prizes event, which was emceed this year by commentator George Will, as the "conservative Oscars." The other recipients this year were James W. Ceaser, a political science professor at the University of Virginia; Larry P. Arnn, president of Hillsdale College; and retired Army Gen. Jack Keane, chairman of the Institute for the Study of War.

The late Christopher Hitchens called Hirsi Ali, whose former religion forced female circumcision on her, someone "of arresting and hypnotizing beauty," and "a charismatic figure" who writes "with quite astonishing humor and restraint." In 2005, Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

She famously said, "Islam is not a religion of peace. It's a political theory of conquest that seeks domination by any means it can."

Her latest book, "Heretic: Why Islam Needs a Reformation Now", was published in March by Harper. (It was reviewed by Katherine Ernst in City Journal.)

Recently Ayaan Hirsi Ali gave a speech at a Washington dinner in which she alluded to an encounter with the vice president. As a longtime advocate for global women’s rights, she was supposed to receive an honorary degree from Brandeis University in early April of this year, but the school buckled under pressure from student activists and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

During the controversy, one CAIR spokesman described Hirsi Ali as “one of the worst of the worst of the Islam haters in America.“

Islam DOES NOT MEAN 'PEACE'! IT MEANS SUBMISSION!........

...to the Will of God. Nothing wrong with that... except, the god of Islam can will good or evil.

In truth, God is Goodness Itself, which is convertible with Existence/Oneness/Beautiful/True.

So at the most fundamental level, Islam is irrational. The behavior of Mohammedans certainly demonstrates it.

The very word “islam” means in english “to submit”. A muslim will say that the definition goes further and it means “to submit to their god”.
Soldiers in the first Gulf war when capturing Iraqi’s would be commonly be told “islami” or “I submit/surrender”. Islam is not submission to their god its submission to the rule that was created by one mortal man, their so-called prophet. This so-called prophet used sex and violence to create Islam. He confirmed seeing the “angel of the light” in the cave by using the nakedness of his wife Khadija to confirm he saw the “angel of the light” in the cave. He used Aisha’s innocence as a very young girl for his perverted inclinations and she became the mother of islam. It is not enough to just be upset that this so-called prophet consummated a marriage when she was only 9. Its upsetting what went on with this girl and him before he even married her and then consummated the marriage. If you don’t know, think what a guy can do to a girl when she sits on his lap but not penetrate her. They had a game of it. Then you will know. He coveted a relative’s wife and made up false revelations because he wanted to bed and marry her. Why? Because he saw her naked legs.
When their so-called prophet was asked questions as he made his rounds, he had those who asked the questions killed. When he would get asked questions he would get very angry and upset. Kind of like a temper tantrum. Then he would have the questioner die later through use of an assassin. This is why it is a death sentence when one questions the tenets of Islam. If their founder did this, it is okay for their followers to follow suit.
So the reason why you cannot take violence away from the religion of Islam is not because Islam is the religion but because sex and violence is the religion in which Islam subscribes to.
By the way, if one does not know, the “angel of light” is a reference found within the bible to denote the angel of satan. The god of the jews and christians have always said that he will not speak through angels but will always talk directly to that person. Thus by having the so-called prophet of Islam speaking to an angel of light in which the angel of light is said to have relayed the words of god (the jewish and christian god) their so-called prophet was told the words of shaitan and not god.
