Judy Naillon called her insurer several months ago to find out why she was being charged $35 every month for birth control pills. Her friends said they were getting their pills free under the federal health law.
Why wasn't she getting the same deal?
The insurance representative explained that was because the plan Naillon and her husband had through his job was "grandfathered" under the health law. In other words, unlike other health plans, Naillon's insurance policy, which existed before the health law was enacted, doesn't have to cover many preventive services, including contraception.
Naillon would have to continue to pay a share of the cost of her pills, the insurer told her.

We have an individual grandfathered plan. Which has basically saved us financially. I wonder when the fascists will find a way to take it away from us.
But, it’s also a bummer, I’m not getting free abortions, birth control, sex change operations. OTOH, I’m not paying for someone else getting them.
We’re old enough to have had health insurance where maternity care was a extra cost OPTION that we could turn down if we wanted to do so.
I'm thinking hemorrhoids and festering boils on the buttocks would be appropriate...........as a starter.
The woman, who is a teacher, doesn’t even want to pay for her own birth control but wants other people to pay for it. I wonder if her employer has health care or if she can sign up for ObamaCare? It seems she wants her husband’s private insurance plan to change to suite her.

As planned. They want to kill all grandfathered plans and move everyone to the new failed plans.

A black guy called Hannity this afternoon and told Hannity that Sean was right and he was horribly wrong about Obamacare. This guy just got his new insurance plan that has a %5,000 deductible before any insurance payment begins, and then it is he pays 20% and insurance pays 80%. in addition to a $250 co-pay.
My BCBS-GA grandfathered plan will be canceled in December. Just received the letter a couple of weeks ago.

once the ass is out of office, the next president can just disregard the laws he doesn’t like... such as each and every 0bamacare ‘law’
if anyone complains about having to ‘follow the law’... just point to the current _resident’s record on following the laws governing the borders for invaders
(With that latest 30%, that's about 50% total increase since Obamacare went into effect two years ago and about 170% since the law passed six years ago.)
