Agreed, motor voter is bad enough but a federal law like this is ridiculos, the states are supposed to govern voter law.

Yep, notwithstanding subsequent amendments, voter quals are determined by the states. Article I Section 2.

The states could enact tomorrow minimum wealth or property requirements that so many Freepers support.
