You watch: they will be automatically registered as a D but you can “opt out” later to be an R

Dem unveils automatic voter registration bill

Just their version of being the "Gay" Engineer with his hand on the throttle accelerating to 105 while approaching the 50mph curve.

They want to take us all with them.

Democrats must have concluded that they can’t win an election honestly.

Motor-voter, passed in the 90’s, is the main cause of the destruction of California. Illegals are getting driver's licenses in several states and, if this passes, they will automatically be registered to vote. In California, the Dems used to suggest that anyone questioning the legality of anyone to register, was automatically against minorities voting. According to the Dems, we should TRUST those who claim eligibility to vote. That is, of course, after they have already broken the law by entering this country illegally. Watch the Dems cast ‘votes’ for all those registered to vote, if a vote from any registered voter hasn't been cast by 4PM on Election Day.

No doubt automatic votes are waiting in the wings as well, just in case you can’t make it to the ballot box or you’re dead, or a cartoon character.

exactly. this is where we are heading. automatic voting of the straight democRAT ticket for every person in the country UNLESS they show up at the voting booth on election day, between 11:45AM and 12:15PM and vote for somebody else. the democRATS will say this is being done out of convenience and to make sure no voters are disenfranchised.

this all started with that cruddy Motor Voter bill under Bubba. i wonder if anyone has a list of all the RINOs who voted for that nonsense.

So confirmation of citizenship and voting eligibility are not required?

Just to swat the hornet’s nest. Pass it attached the to Repeal of Obamacare, or maybe Impeachment.

Agreed, motor voter is bad enough but a federal law like this is ridiculos, the states are supposed to govern voter law.

Another Rhode Island Democrat ahole heard from. The state and Connecticut look like Latin America, and smell like it too.

Gee, we have Sen. Whitehouse (certifiably crazy), Lincoln Chafee (longtime crazy), a governor who is batshit crazy, and Democrats who are lunatics when it comes to domestic spending programs that don’t work.

If another Hurricane Sandy hit the state head-on, I’d cheer for the storm. Mother Nature’s way of addressing a mistake.

One can dream.

I looked it up. The R Senators voting for Motor-voter were some guy from Orgeon (that I have never heard of) and (no surprise) Jeffords and Specter. In the House, the two R names that jumped out were Santorum and Ros-Lehtinen. It was overwhelmingly passed by Dems and has benefited them greatly in most elections since 1993.
