Post of the day!
A complete rebuttal of Robertson.
I wish that the church and TV preachers would just stick to the basics of:
Jesus being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, being the propitiation for our sins, dying on the cross, being buried, rising from the dead on the third day and coming back again and leave alone the following:
1.) Leave the eternal conditional security doctrine alone, 2.) lave the unconditional eternal security doctrine alone, too, 3.) leave the health/wealth doctrines out of the pulpit as well, and just tell people that works will not save, either, but that we accept Jesus, do our best as we walk in the Spirit, and leave our eternal fate in His hands.
John 6:51: I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
How do you “un-eat” this bread?
Acts 16:31 “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and THOU shalt be SAVED..”
The truth of SALVATION ISN’T Trust in the finished work of Christ and maybe in the end it will be enough for you. It either IS enough or it isn’t. Once truly SAVED one is truly SAVED for all eternity.
