Ted Cruz Endorses Vince Haley; and So Do I

Throughout Vince Haley’s campaign, his future constituents have gotten to know him as a sharp, constitutional conservative with big, bold ideas. His opponents, those well connected money-men and pastel cloaked bureaucrats-in-waiting do not have anything to offer the 12th district. I suspect that the majority of people following this primary prefer Vince Haley – but do they understand how fundamentally important it is to get out and vote tomorrow?

If Vince Haley loses, the Republican Establishment will celebrate, gloat, and call the primary result a mandate for their Wall Street and K Street agendas. We are in a struggle for the soul of the Republican Party and candidates like Dave Brat and Vince Haley are rare jewels in a profession (politics) teeming with the corrupt and the foolish.

Vince Haley is highly educated, constitutionally responsible, and will fight hard to lessen the burden of government in our lives. His opponents will continue the Richmond tradition of higher taxes, endless subsidies, and growing regulations. We have an opportunity here to make our State Senate a better body, not just by adding another “R” to the mix, but by adding another Constitutional Conservative.

Tomorrow, June 9th, if you live in the 12th District, I beg you, take as many of your friends, family, and neighbors to the polls with you to help send Vince Haley to the Virginia Senate. These are difficult times and we cannot afford more squishy, squeamish Republicans in Name Only. We need principled leadership. We need Vince Haley.
