I always try to read his articles. Just like Christopher Hitchins was, even if I didn’t agree with the conclusion I knew I was going to learn something because both of them certainly did their homework before publishing something.

This misses the point. Obama is so *IGNORANT* that he doesn't even understand the concept.
Obama is a prime example of incompetence that is the result of making affirmative action your hiring methodology.

Mister Hentoff is and for decades has been a thinking man. That is no longer vogue with liberals, they demand Americans be guided by emotion which they, the liberati, massage with political correctness run amok. Mister Hentoff does not run with such a crowd.
I remember when he spoke up in support of pro life advocates who were hit with RICO suits by the Clinton Administration, citing that such charges violated the First Amendment. He’s one of the last honest liberals.
