PARTLY true... not all churches that reject (at least ostensibly) such a life style are doing it out of love of the Lord. Some are doing it out of pride, or partly so. Pride is easily malleable into other forms of sin.

Try applying this to other groups and see how it flies. For example: kleptomaniacs, arsonists, racists, child abusers, serial killers, violent criminals, addicts, ....
Instead of slamming them on their face by such comparisons (which would be rejected as “straw man argument” anyhow), more mileage might be had by pointing out that this thing that they are talking about being born with and growing up with, represents an obvious act of hate, and we can see it making them miserable because it represents a duct of hatred into their hearts, and that God can not only explain why it has happened but has a gracious salvational help for it and all other sin too.

The way I read the 1st Chapter of Romans, homosexuality is a sign that someone has rejected God, so they have been given over to their sinful desires. Therefore, it is not surprising that they mock God . . . unsettling to me for the consequences they are likely to reap . . . but not surprising.
I wonder how they would all react to the FACT that Pedophiles plan to use the very same arguments? It will be fun to watch how all of a sudden you’re NOT born THAT way but the Born Gay LIE is okay...heck it needs to be promoted.

You may in fact be “born this way” and you may in fact “always be like this”, but being a homosexual does not compel my respect for you. You need to do something other than vigorously promote sodomy to earn the respect of decent people.
