Illegal immigration lowest since 1972, DHS chief Johnson says(Or how to lie with a straight face)

Illegal immigration across the southwestern border is on pace for the lowest year since 1972, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Monday, claiming success a year after the surge of illegal immigrant children and families exposed major holes in U.S. policy.

Mr. Johnson said there is no guarantee that apprehensions — which he said are a direct indication of the total flow of illegal immigrants — will keep on that four-decade low pace, but said the signs are encouraging.

“The bottom line of all this is, in recent years the total number of those who attempt to illegally cross our southwest border has declined dramatically, while the percentage of those who are apprehended has gone up,” the secretary said at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. “Put simply, it’s now much harder to cross our border illegally and evade capture than it used to be — and people know that.”

Through May, or the first eight months of the fiscal year, the Border Patrol had caught 213,145 illegal immigrants at the border. That was down 34 percent from the same point in 2014.

Even with the successes, Mr. Johnson said, they “are not — repeat, not — declaring mission accomplished.”

So you invite them in by the trainload, and open the border to them...and then claim that they’re just not coming here.

Right.

They aren’t lying to themselves, remember, their definition of, “illegal immigrant” is not the same as ours. Likely, illegal would be someone from Israel coming here.

Fewer caught does not necessarily mean fewer attempting and succeeding to cross the border, no matter what this lying harf says. Anyone who lives within 500 miles of the Mexican border can probably tell you how much worse the illegal immigration problem has become.

So Jeh. I’m guessing you know as much about immigration as you do about your own damned TSA and how they failed 95% of internal security testing. “You’re doing a bang-up job, Brownie.”

Ah yes, how to lie with a straight face? All you have to do is watch OBAMA lie with a straight face. You learn from the master liar of them all. But, since they are backed by the lame stream media, and protected by them, nothing will ever be done to correct any of this.

No - they just reclassified 75% or more of the illegal immigration as legal. Problem solved!

Homeland Security seeks $41.2 billion budget for 2016
February 4, 2015 6:30 AM By BioPrepWatch Reports

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced a $41.2 billion budget request Monday for the 2016 fiscal year.

The budget would improve the unity of effort at the department, Johnson said, focusing on “harmonizing DHS business processes.” Along with the budget, a new Common Appropriations Structure was also submitted to Congress, which would standardize financial planning, programming and budgets for all DH agencies, Johnson said.

There are five areas the department focuses on each year, and the budget is in alignment with those five missions, Johnson said. The first mission is to prevent terrorism and enhance security in the country by implementing security for the land, air and at sea.

The next mission is to secure and manage the country’s borders, and reduce the number of illegal immigrants and amount of contraband getting into the United States. The third mission includes enforcing and administering immigration laws and providing safe and secure detention of illegal immigrants in federal custody if they are a flight risk or a public safety concern.

The fourth mission deals with safeguarding and securing cyberspace, which impacts economic security. The 2016 budget would invest in technology and staff to reduce cybercrime and improve the security of federal network defenses.

The fifth mission, Johnson said, is to strengthen national preparedness and resilience so the country can prepare and respond to any type of disaster. <> Johnson said before Congress approves any funding for the next fiscal year lawmakers should approve funding for the current year.

“The President’s FY 2016 Budget provides the resources necessary for the Department of Homeland Security to further strengthen our efforts to fulfill our wide-ranging missions, while also being agile and vigilant in the face of ever-evolving threats and recent world events,” Johnson said. “But prior to acting on the FY 2016 Budget, I urge Congress to fully fund DHS for the rest of this fiscal year, as the current continuing resolution is disruptive, creates uncertainty, and impedes efficient resource planning and execution.”

Actually, while this might not be the case right now, the raw numbers of illegal aliens have nowhere to go but down.

When nations reach a particular economic plateau unique to them, rapidly their birthrate drops from high to just maintenance level, which is about 2.1 to 2.3 or so children per family. Mexico is a recent example of this. And without continued strong population growth, immigration from Mexico will *have* to strongly drop, outside of a civil war or natural disaster.

The huge surge of illegals during the W. Bush years was directly attributable to the Plan Puebla Panama, created by the Mexican president Vincente Fox. Its idea was to turn southern Mexico into a gigantic transportation hub for shipping, aircraft, rail and roadway, to both North and South America. To do so, however, the plan called for the depopulation of southern Mexico.

So the people down there were told to get out and head North, either to work in the factories just south of the border, or better yet, to go to America.

W. Bush was all in favor of the PPP as well, the largest part of which was the Trans Texas Corridor, a massive roadway from Texas to Canada, bisecting the US. However, the Texans resoundingly said “HELL NO!”

So though the plan failed, the US got one heck of a lot of Mexicans.

Though it sounds ridiculous, Ann Coulter is right, that the US is now home to almost 1/4th of the population of Mexico.

And yes, given a decade or two, America will be able to swallow, and for the most part integrate them, despite the best efforts of the Democrats to keep them uneducated, ghettoized and foreign, and leftist, of course.

If Republicans and conservatives can prevent them from being ghettoized, effectively forcing them to integrate, insisting that they get real schooling, not just indoctrination, and convincing them that they are no longer Mexicans (except ethnically), but are Americans, then many of the will support Republicans and conservatives.

How can you possibly believe that? there are 7 billion more people of this planet which wish to come to the USA
