My point is that the still photos distort what really happened at that moment as recoded in the video. Once the cop puts his hand on his holstered weapon, the two yutes back up, and both their hands are visible in the video. Nevertheless, the cop proceeds to draw his weapon and begins to chase the yutes with his weapon drawn until two level headed cops intervene and politely restrain the hothead cop. The hothead then directs one of the cops to give chase and he does — with his weapon in the holster.

If you watch the entire video and not just the CNN version, you see that the the hothead cop puts the douche back in douche bag, beginning with this stupid somersault that seems to serve no purpose other than tuning the cop into an attention whore.

All any of them-Brown, Garner, Scott had to do was to obey the direct order of a LEO.
