“If they were doing the activities alleged in Texas after dark, they would definitely be at risk of that, and my understanding is that under Texas law, it would be a good shoot.”

The incident was not at night and nobody was shot.

The difficulty Is that the pool is a “community” pool and anyone who lives in the subdivision can use that pool and each resident can have two guests.

With that, everyone involved either lives there or will have someone that does live there say they were a guest.

With all of that, the officer had no reason to tackle the 15 year old girl and to pull his gun.

The cop will be fired and the city will be sued.

I have no use for thuggish cops and punks with a badge. That being said I watched the full video and the girl who was thrown down and arrested was told to leave and walked off and came back. Then started out again and was told to leave and eventually got thrown down for arrest.

From what I saw this officer had a crowd surrounding him and moving in far too close with him ordering them away and then two males moved to his right rear in proximity to his weapon and was headed to moving in behind him. What were their intentions? If you can read minds then you are fine, if you can’t you have to move them out from behind you asap or face being rushed and having your own weapon used against you.

I would love to know what you would have done in that policeman's situation.

Per Mr Gestner, a subset of the pool kids came back Saturday —night— and vandalized property.

At night.

In Texas.

Where if the homeowner is inside his house and is in fear of their life and sees trespassers, they have the right to defend themselves and their property.

Those punks are lucky nobody shot em.

Also—

Per FB posts, moms are conceal carrying since this happened.

You need to read the article. You are misinformed on a number of facts.

Read the post. Read the thread. He was referring to the people who returned to the neighborhood at night like the Klan used to do, to shake people up and express hatred for the whities.

Yes, it was at night. Troll much?

The residents who called the cops probably won't lie for them. You can probably discount the residents whose doors were kicked in too. The Mom with her little kids may not be feeling very charitable after she was abused by them. I don't think they're going to find very many among their victims to vouch for them.
