JERUSALEM, Israel -- Against the backdrop of a pending deal over Iran's nuclear program, an unprecedented meeting took place in Washington, D.C., last week.

The meeting between Israel and Saudi Arabia sent one more signal of an historic geopolitical change taking place in the Middle East.

At the Council on Foreign Relations, Israel's incoming director general of the Foreign Ministry, Dore Gold, met with Anwar Majed Eshki, his Saudi counterpart. These historic enemies shared an identical message: Iran is trying to take over the Middle East and it must be stopped.

The meeting took place in public, but Israel and Saudi Arabia revealed they have met five other times behind closed doors. That revelation and the rare public meeting seemed designed to send a clear signal to President Barack Obama's White House.

The Saudi’s will be out to purchase nukes from the Paks or Norks if and when obumbler lets the nut case Iranians get the bomb. Then the question is when will the religion of peace practitioners decide to use a nuke on their “brothers” all in the name of allah.

IMO, Islam and individual liberty are mutually exclusive.

Thus, an Islamic nation will either be ruled by a tyrannical theocracy or a secular dictator, who is willing to suppress the theocrats.

The secular dictators have proven to be the lesser evil for non-Islamic minorities, women, and our national interests.

Going forward, I think punitive warfare is how we should manage Muslims. Inflict enough pain on them, so that they modify their offending behavior, and let it go at that.

In the case of Iraq, we were already there, and a SFA that would have allowed a transition to a stable non-Islamic authoritarian leadership is what we should have done.

The real problem is at home right here in America. Until you destroy the idea that all cultures are equal, we’ll just be back here again when the next Democrat gets elected.

We have to win and dominate the thoughtspace.

How about we seek to rebuild the USA, add to our freedoms and rights (instead of having them taken), and create policies of economic opportunities for Americans, and let those in the Middle East solve their own neighborhood problems. The Saudis played a part in 9-11 and we Americans have paid a big price ever since.. I’m no longer sympathetic to this area of the world.

We are still reaping what Rummy, Wolfowitz, Kristol, and the other NWO jerks have sown. We should have left Saddam in place so Iraq and Iran could keep busy by killing each other.
