I think so, but I think they are all wary of him. Forgiven not forgotten. The girls were very young and not sexualized at the time. I see people reading this as adults do not as children do. The girls probably did their fair share of rough housing prior to these incidents and your brother grabbing you may not automatically make you think of sex.

Some people all they think about is sex. Josh was quite obviously in full puberty mode even though the girls were not.

I don't excuse what Josh did, I just feel really bad that the girls had to be re-victimized by the media. Now every time they show their face anywhere, the question is there. That is a horrible way to have to live. Also. I do not like the media witch hunt. I do not like that sealed juvenile records were released and I do not like that the powers that be can silence people they don't agree with. All very totalitarian. But I have been through all of this before.

They should be wary of him. It is instinct to think that someone who has done it more than once could do it again.

The girls were/are the victims for sure. That is the biggest issue for me. Josh was (and still is) being protected by the parents and even his sisters. The little ones were the most troubling aspect of this. There was nothing sexual about them at all, yet he still did it.

Yep! But instead of being yanked off the air, I think a reality show should be real and deal with it. People who think if you are not a perfect Christian you cannot speak about Christian values, really need to get a grip!

Educate people about the real world and what can happen even in a good family!

As I have related elsewhere, they are most definitely not Christian. Research what they believe (Gothard and Quiverfull).

What is a Duggar?
One of the blessings of not having cable; or replacing my TV when it died earlier this year; is not knowing the answer to that.

Ok I will get back to you on that. But does it matter? The media thinks they are Christian and that is all that matters! They are out to get all Christians. By any means necessary.

Now off to see what you mentioned.

I think it matters. Christians should definitely not be tarred and feathered along with the imposters.

I am researching. I see a lot of articles that are tainted by feminists and other hostiles. I would like to hear what someone like say Franklin Graham or similar person thinks about this brand of Christianity. I don't think I have heard it. But I am still researching.

It sounds a lot like the Amish, what I am reading. I think it will be most telling if this is true, how the kids follow through. What do I mean by that?

Two things, one, Josh and Anna let Micheal and Marcus wear shorts. Interesting as the Duggars never let their kids wear shorts. Number two, I have heard that Derek and Jill Dillard are going to Nepal and taking baby Israel with them to do missionary work and Jim Bob went white as a sheet when he was told about it.

So for me it would be interesting to see how the kids raise their kids.

:) Well if this quiverful stuff is true, then Jim Bob is no longer in charge of Jill! So run Jill run!

The two things the Duggar’s did wrong was selling their personal lives to reality television and Jessa and Jill showing their happiness when they married last year. They need to go back to their normal lives and leave Hollywood in the dust. Christianity and Hollywood don’t mix. Never has, never will.

I’d blame Arkansas more than Hollywood in this case.

TCL, network tv. They put themselves out there for fame and money. It always comes at a price.

Politics in Arkansas is dirty. You take on the gays and they will fight back. Josh and Michelle took them on and now they are reaping the rainbow.
