refuse to understand what would happen to this country if it became a socialist democracy...All they care about is the free stuff...It's this constant tax the rich to pay for everything refrain. They are asking for a free lunch but do not realize that they are also on the menu.

An avowed socialist get 40%. We are so screwed. Socialist? LOL...Bernie's a hard-core commie...he just SAYS 'socialist' to appeal to his constituents. When I was in the Red Mountain state, Bernie used to do interviews on local radio. Somehow, the subject of Russia would come up, and you could almost HEAR Bernie's eyes misting over with love for his adopted mother country.

Soviet Red Hampshire presents an interesting primary...a state packed with radical womyn who adore Hillary!...packed with radical commies who will vote for Sanders...packed with 'registered independents' who will cross over to vote for Jeb Bush in the GOP primary.
What to do, what to do?

She doesn’t talk much about her health insurance now, although she did tell me that it’s all the fault of those greedy insurance companies. Sigh!
To: Libloather
There is no question or problem where either of them believe more government is the wrong answer. Any Republican should center their attacks around that regardless of who is the nominee.

Joke all you want but Sanders starts with California and New York in his back pocket. If he runs he has a serious shot at winning and underestimating him is a mistake.

Barack Obama was elected by a media dead-set against the Republican Party TWICE. The media has not changed. They will mislead, mis-state, spin and outright lie at absolutely every turn regardless of who runs.
The Democrat nominee also starts with 86 electoral votes in just NY and California alone. They only need 270 to win. That’s 30ish percent of the total they need without spending a dime or lifting a finger.
Also, Sanders has a very strong populist message (eat the rich, to sum it up) which will play well.
Republicans have to be perfect, Any misstep is a gotcha moment for them. Democrats have to not implode on live TV.
So when I consider all those factors I do think he could win. I think any democrat can win because of the tremendous advantages they start with.

Did anyone at the straw poll checked for BRAIN ACTIVITY from the people who answered? Dems are not know for using their brains.

The party of Pelosi, Reid, and Obama is about to reap what theyve sowed the past 8 years. Make that "the past 48 years".
The Democrat party has been working toward a socialist goal for the equivalent of two generations.

“Then my friend had to use her cheapo plan. Turned out her plan had this little thing called a deductible...”
That was planned. Obama wanted to minimize the premiums so you get high deductibles. Now the liberals are complaining that people enrolled in Obamacare are “under insured” since they can’t afford to pay the deductibles. Their solution is more government subsidies to lower the deductibles.
To: Jack Hydrazine
Anything more than 20 years ago and I’d have scoffed at the idea of someone like Sanders winning but things have changed, seriously changed. We gave too much ground in the media, the cities and on the electoral map. Doesn’t mean it’s impossible for us to win - just that it’s an uphill battle.

The powers that be want everyone to be unhappy with Obamacare so we can be “saved” by single payer government run health care. This was the ultimate goal all along.
To: Personal Responsibility
Considering how gullible the public was with Obama I could see them voting in someone even worse. Even a global dictator.
