First came a few pistol shots, several witnesses said, then a barrage of rifle fire during the shootout last month at a Waco restaurant favored by bikers. But authorities still have not said how many of the dead and wounded were the result of police fire.
Police have identified only one assault weapon, a semi-automatic gun that fires high-powered ammunition, among the firearms confiscated from bikers, and that was found in a locked car after the shooting ended.

I could think of other words.
And the parakeet hindquarters doubtfully could ever cover the stupidity of the alligator front-part.
Meanwhile, Howard Stern is out there somewhere wondering what color panties you have on.
Boyfriend/Husband a cop? Or is it daddy?
And do they have the same low view of the Constitution and due process as you appear to? --- when it comes to scary bikers anyway.
Learn it from them? Are they scared all the time?
Respectfully, not so odd. My wise old dad taught me that when you care what others think of you, others control you. Peer pressure, "slaves to fashion" who wear ridiculous clothes because they want to fit in with the cool crowd, that kind of thing. It's human nature. There is a very, very powerful resistance to the message here because it opens one up to the possibility -- heck, likelihood -- of being snickered at for being a "conspiracy theorist," subject to both pity and scorn, of people who allow themselves to be spoon-fed the news in headlines and the first few paragraphs of a story, and take zero responsibility for completing it with a modicum of their own due diligence.
That saying "ignorance is bliss" is eloquent. I ignored this story for nearly two weeks because I understood so very well that it was just a matter of a bunch of mean bully got-something-to-prove "tough guy" bikers of the type I have known in plenty over my 58 years, shooting at each other, good riddance to bad rubbish, why is this even in the news other than good news?
And I'd still be enjoying the happy bliss of that ignorance if I had not noticed that several FReepers who've earned my respect over the years, were taking hard and long second looks at this Waco charade.
See my home page to understand where I'm coming from. There are two types of people in this world: those who let others' opinions of them dictate what they think and do, and those who have the courage to go where the truth leads even if it means they may be scorned for it.
I counted 36 bullet holes. Two different calibers?
That's a Toyota Tacoma belonging to a couple of Latina newspaper deliverers. Cops heard a newspaper hit the pavement with a crack and thought it was their erstwhile comrade Christopher Dorner looking to waste them. So, they opened up!
The jury awarded the two Latinas $4.2m + $40k towards a new truck. I call that a happy ending. $117.8k per bullet hole. Great shooting, guys!
That triggered a really weird memory.
During that time, I was just a little kid.
At some carnival, my dad won me a black light poster in the penny pitch.
It was a velvet textured BL poster of Calley butchering villagers, with spilled intestines and all.
Very colorful when I flipped my black light bulb on.
All these years later, I now wonder “WTF was that artist thinking??”
LOL

I once stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.
Shows what I know — I thought the two women were killed. Glad they weren’t.
Three shooters, likely each with a spotter/communicator with him. Oh, it goes back before Iraq/Afghanistan.
It even goes back to before most of Vietnam, including another shooting in Texas....
I like that........
Me too!!
It is a sweet piece. At .38+P the recoil isn’t too bad for a light pistol, either. If the Mrs. keeps the purse free from clutter, there shouldn’t be anything to jam the wheel, either, so she could shoot through the bag if need be.
But I like the hammerless ease of use....
FWIW- I think S&W messed up calling it what they called it...
