Calling trans women “male” is like the background noise of transphobia. It comes from many directions, and it’s pretty much constant. On one level, it’s a lazy invalidation of who and what we are, offered up by armchair biology fans who insist that trans women are always and forever “male”. On another, it’s unwittingly perpetuated rhetoric by people trying to provide 101-level explanations of what it means to be transgender while unaware that they may be causing even more confusion. And, of course, it’s overtly weaponized as a rallying cry of those looking to keep our genders from being recognized and protected under the law.
But this concept of physical sex as permanent and inescapable is actually incomplete, inaccurate, and irrelevant. Are trans women really “male” in any way that matters? I don’t think so.

Many men have had to have their penis's removed because of an accident or because of cancer or infection. I think they would be shocked if told they are no longer men because of it.
Males have XY chromosomes, females have XX.
When someone can change that, I will believe they have changed their sex.

Mentally defective is the preferred terminology.
If it has boy parts, it is a boy. If it has girl parts, it is a girl.
Toddlers learn this and understand it.
The rare one in a thousand biological accident doesn’t contradict that binary male/female dynamic for the human species.
It takes an extreme degree of mental illness to contradict such a basic fact, and radical political view to think that validating someone’s mental illness and castigating those who don’t play along are wrong.
But adding breasts to a man with a penis doesn’t make him a woman, it simply demonstrates the degree to which he’s willing to mutilate his body to fit the disorder. It fits into the coming out of the “trans-disabled” and those who remove limbs to feel whole - they are severely mentally ill, and liberals think we should accept and endorse their illness.
The irony is that by saying we should tolerate a man in a dress as a woman based on how he acts is that it undermines the entire feminist view that there’s no real difference between men and women, and that gender roles (outside childbirth) are social constructs. Yet here are men in dresses, defining their gender based on aping female stereotypes, and even criticizing women who don’t follow them. (I’ve had to deal with this, and filed a corporate sexual harassment claim on a man in a dress for exactly this manner, so I do get it.)
Idiotic is also the claim that you can have a female brain in a male body, thus suggesting that there is a female brain (yes, men tend to have better spacial skills, and women more verbal skills, but it isn’t nearly as strict as penis/vagina.) The horror is that these men tend to remain heterosexual, so they demand to enter the women’s bathroom like a woman, while retaining the sexual attraction TO women.
It is as bad as a homosexual Scout leader taking boys on a campout; you shouldn’t have a person sexually attracted to their charges in a position of authority, and ideally, not with them at all. The atrocity of the transgender man is that he’s in the women’s spaces, separated for the women’s protection, while demanding validation and accommodation - so a woman’s right to privacy somehow includes abortion but not going to the bathroom or taking a shower without a mentally ill man looking at her, criticizing her for being uncomfortable.
Then there’s the bizarre delusion that pumping someone full of hormones and ripping apart the body somehow proves that the sex barrier is NOT a big one.
If i tape cardboard to my arms and tell you I’m an airplane, would you:
1) Celebrate the fact that I’ve ‘found my true self’ and act as if I really am an airplane?
2) Recognize that I am not well and recommend counselling or psychiatric help?
3) Present me with the ESPY Arthur Ashe award for courage?
There hasn’t been as much backlash as I thought there would be for Bruce Jenner being given an ESPY bravery award, over a girl who kept playing sports with brain cancer, and the teenaged girl DIED of the cancer a couple weeks ago.
Butchery doesn’t change the chromosomes.
They are what they were born as.
I stopped into a county deli in the Adirondacks one time for coffee and they had a chalkboard with a “word of the day”, whereby if you gave the definition you got a free coffee. The word was Transmogrification. I walked out with a free coffee.
If young ladies refuse to date me because they cling to outdated methods for determining my age, will they be shunned and ridiculed in public for being "chronophobes" or something?
Male attempting to turn into female: Mentally ill, still male.
Female attempting to turn into male: Mentall ill, still female.

Better yet, tell her that a "Y" chromosome means ever single cell of their body is male. It's as if ever single cell has a penis.
The only cells of the human body that think they are female are a small group of defective ones in the brains of transgender wannabes, but even those cells have "Y" chromosomes, making them male despite what they want to believe.
