The first alleged sexual abuse victim of former House Speaker Dennis Hastert has been named as a student on the high school boys' wrestling team he used to coach.

Steve Reinboldt was the student equipment manager when Hastert, now 73, worked at Yorkville High school in Illinois from 1965 to 1981.

He was abused for years by Hastert, his sister Jolene Burdge told ABC this week, who referred to her brother as his 'great, right hand man' in a 1970 high school yearbook.

She said Hastert, who was in his late twenties at the time, had been a father figure to him but also believed that relationship had caused irreparable harm.

She said: 'He [Hastert] damaged Steve I think more than any of us will ever know.'

No, she is not the one he was paying the money to, and her brother is not the “victim” Hastert was trying to cover up.

It looks like there’s the person he was paying off, a second man who claims he was molested by Hastert and now the sister of this man for a total, so far, of at least three alleged victims.
