my eight hens provide me 6 eggs a day. What we haven’t been able to eat, I give them away to friends.
Maybe there is a market?
Food Shortages - Another 0bama “Success” story.
Can a toilet paper shortage be far behind?
Rham (sp) will step in because he cannot let a 'crisis go to waste'. This will let the Democrats solidify their hold on supermarket egg supply and distribution.

I don’t know, I have a friend at church who knows farmers who have too many eggs so she gets them for very little cost. So grateful she extended it to us. I found it odd as our county has been the hardest hit in MN by the bird flu, but mostly turkeys I guess.
Not eggactly what I wanted to hear, love my big weekend breakfasts.
Cool, I have eight chickens too, but they’re not laying eggs yet. 6 per day you say?
Not at my house. I've had a year's worth stockpiled for some time. It will be gold some day.
“I’ll have more leeway after the coup” ....
I will have chickens at some point... I look forward to having hard boiled eggs, or egg salad sammiches for lunch, every day!
There was a story floating about the other day about a person sabotaging Chicken farms in SC. The sabotaging was very sophisticated and they were able to eventually pin it on an independent chicken farmer who lost his contract with Pilgrim, so armed with his knowledge of chicken handling procedures he disabled all the environmental alarms, and in the case of adults chickens, he drove the heat up to kill them all. In the case of Chicks he turned the heat off and let them freeze to death.
Interestingly, one of the affected farmers indicated it would only take 12 weeks to turn the next cycle of chickens out.
I wonder if California’s change in regulations had anything to do with this.
Either by causing a change in procedures or just as a contributing factor in the price increase.
That chart is taught in the second week of any decent Econ101 class yet so many can’t grasp the concept. It’s more politically useful to manipulate the situation rather than operate from a basic understanding of markets.

“... egg salad sammiches...”
That’s NOT egg salad that comes out the back.
