And no one seems to understand that when this man was a child he went to his parents and confessed. He didn’t hide it, the girls had no idea of the inappropriate touching, which is all that ever happened. If he hadn’t no one would ever have known. But he did. I would be willing to bet NO young boy who bumped into a girl at that age just to feel a boob, ever confessed to his parents. It was wrong, they were his sisters, but that is no reason to ruin his OR the girls lives over it. The girls trauma is going to be caused by the illegal releases of his sealed files, not the incident.

Fifteen is not a child. You can be charged as an adult in many places at that age, including for sexual assault.

One of the girls wrote a letter and hid it in a book that was lent out in 2002 trying to get help describing the molestation.
None came until 2006 when it was forwarded to Oprah when the Duggars were trying to generate publicity for the show by appearing on hers. Unlike the supposed Christians surrounding the Duggars, she actually called the cops and canceled their appearance.
