I still find it hard to believe that sexual assault occurring again and again and again over a period of years can be merely referred to as "Falling Short".
And no one seems to understand that when this man was a child he went to his parents and confessed. He didn’t hide it, the girls had no idea of the inappropriate touching, which is all that ever happened.
Fifteen is not a child. You can be charged as an adult in many places at that age, including for sexual assault.
And he did try to hide his assaults, he waited until they were asleep to do it.
The Duggars story has changed since the police report, before he only confessed once, the girls had to go to the parents the other times. They certainly were aware of what was happening
These weren't just girls that he was trying to get a feel, they were his own sisters, the youngest only 5.

One of the girls wrote a letter and hid it in a book that was lent out in 2002 trying to get help describing the molestation.
None came until 2006 when it was forwarded to Oprah when the Duggars were trying to generate publicity for the show by appearing on hers. Unlike the supposed Christians surrounding the Duggars, she actually called the cops and canceled their appearance.

Well actually the parents took that risk by doing the show knowing this was in their history.
There’s nothing to day that can remain “protected information” no matter what the laws say if someone really wants to make trouble for you....or get a good story they can roll on.
