Come on down to the Missouri Ozarks.
Low taxes, low cost of living, year round fishing. Deer and turkey in the woods, shoot your gun...
Did I mention low taxes ?

Isn't Connecticut the state that has all of the tax benefits of insurance companies and credit card companies?
Why not extend them to companies that actually make things?
To: Biggirl
Yet it was Jeffrey Imelt, CEO of GE, who was Obama’s biggest supporter both financially and by making GE’s media companies such as NBC left wing propagandists for the age of Obama. Now they are whining.

They don’t have to look hard: GE already has major facilities in Ft. Worth (locomotives) and Houston (Electric generators)

Try saying NO to the give me that crowd set and see what happens. Scott Walker said "NO" to them.
Bill Clinton said "NO" to them too, back in 1996. Of course, he had no choice in the matter, so he made the best of it.

They did, to UTC.
CT was taxing UTC on things assembled in CT from parts made in low cost/low tax areas/countries, so they gave them tax breaks to stay, forgoing future sales tax on the 6,000+ Airliner engines they plan to sell in the next 8 years.
Malloy bought maybe 7 years before they move to Florida, or a state with deeper pockets and Hartford gets boarded up and is turned into Detroit East.

GE is a big supporter of Obama and leftists and gets special exemptions from corporate income taxes. As crony as they come.
