Baltimores top cop confirms what WJZ has been reporting -almost 200,000 narcotics are on the streets of Baltimore, and police say theyre fueling deadly turf wars.
[Snip]
Police believe stolen prescription drugs are driving the violence sweeping the city.
Theres enough narcotics on the streets of Baltimore to keep it intoxicated for a year, Commissioner Batts said.
More than 175,000 units or doses of drugs were looted from 27 pharmacies and two methadone clinics during the April 27 riots. Almost half of those businesses havent even finished assessing what was stolen.

Maybe the mayor shouldn't have given these people quite so much space to destroy!
Cops should step back and let Darwin sort them out.
After all, have to give the hoodimals room.
What is the benchmark to measure against?
Dawn of the Dead!
I expect a large rise in sales of watermelon ice tea and skittles.
27 pharmacies were looted? That is the first I heard of that. I thought only CVS was looted.
The poison pill asks? :-)
We can at least do math to guess at what the police are claiming.
This would represent 400 habitual abusers in Baltimore if they each need one dose a day.
Sounds if so like the user problem is small, and that the market is now saturated. Maybe they WILL tear each other up in turf wars. It’s like the parable of the monkey trap. Fill a gourd with nuts, having a hole in the side that is just big enough for a monkey fist. Will the monkey remove only one nut at a time? No, it will fill its fist, be unable to remove it from the hole, and rage till the hunter returns.
Incompetence from top to bottom. It stretches all the way from Valerie Jarrett to Obama to the Mayor to the State prosecutor through the Police Chief. They are all statist community organizer pimps.
Interesting legal question.
If a person places a large container of cyanide pills on the shelf marked “Oxycontin” and they are subsequently looted. Is the owner responsible for the subsequent deaths?
Baltimore’s a hellhole in process of becoming...
strange the media would only show 1 CVS. /s
Since the shelf is what is labeled, there'd be no culpability.
Maybe CVS was the only national chain store looted? And they focused on that, as opposed to small local businesses which were destroyed???

Sedation would be better.
Riight...... Or maybe they didn’t want to show how deep the cancer goes in the non-white communities. Doan wantsta diss on dem po blacks now do we?
the mayor and all her ilk deserve to have the dead bodies strewn on their lawns and left to rot.....
Pretty much.
And as you point out, there really isn’t anything else that can be done without some whiner somewhere going apestuffing insane over it.
Only thing to do is wall them into their community, keep them from heading outside their habitat, and let them sort themselves out.
Once the destruction is complete, they will whine that there isn’t anything more to destroy.
Just like the cretins in Ferguson.
Message to the cops: So what? Turn the other way and let them have room to destroy..........each other. Patrol the parts of town that appreciate your service and leave the rest to the thugs and animals controlling the streets.
