And as you point out, there really isn’t anything else that can be done without some whiner somewhere going apestuffing insane over it.
Only thing to do is wall them into their community, keep them from heading outside their habitat, and let them sort themselves out.
Once the destruction is complete, they will whine that there isn’t anything more to destroy.
