The “right” has it’s own war on the police. Just read the support threads about drug dealing bikers and their misfortunes with cops.
One thing I’m still puzzled about is the black involvement in this. Wright was obviously a black Muslim convert, but was the other one (the one who was shot) also a convert? This makes it sound as if he was.
Sometimes the press identifies them by their pre-Islamic names and sometimes it doesn’t.

The Right should be wary of the police, especially what the police in America have become in the last 40 years. Any freedom-loving person should be against militarized law enforcement, cops who speak in terms of “us or them”, and a fedgov who is gradually standardizing them into one national force so that all it will take is an EO and new uniforms to create a Federal Police Force.
The Right did not move away from the cops. They moved away from us.
When unconstitutional federal agencies subvert local control of police forces loyalties get tenuous as conflicting agendas shape events.
Look at you - dragging your slime trail around from thread to thread to mewl about whatever butt hurt you were subjected to on some other thread. Thanks for the free entertainment anyway, even if it does constitute a thread hijack.

Anti-local LEO is confined to the left. They're all for more federal LEO.
Conflating them plays right into the hands of the people who want everyone to forget they live in a republic.
That's an interesting point, but I see enough anti-local-leo-ism from the right to give me doubts about it.
It's not that cut and dried any more. Check the DEA's website for local drug "Task Force" programs. These are programs for local police forces that are trained, directed, and in some cases paid by the federal government. The only thing "local" about it is the badge.
There's all kinds of "training programs" for local police forces run by the federal government that come with built-in leftist political indoctrination.
You might want to run a sanity check and see if your blind support of anyone wearing that badge is really justified.

In the U.S. it may be more of a negro problem than an Islamic problem.
I don’t think you should put it quite that way....what I think is that the Muslims are very good at capitalizing on the pathologies of the underclass, a large percentage of which in this country happens to be black. The Muslims stoke their real or imagined grievances and convince them that Islam not only permits but blesses their attacks on the white devil infidels.
Remember that there was a lot of Muslim presence (not to mention ISIS flags) at the Ferguson riots.
Gearing up for the “Come take” executive order. It won’t be a constitutional court decision. But, it will start a civil war.

I agree. Any sane person should consider the presence of armed government agents in our midst who possess legal authority that the citizenry does not to be a threat, even in the best of times.
But, in this age of limitless ways to declare an honest man to be a criminal, government eavesdropping, and electronic surveillance; a sane person needs to be doubly suspicious of armed government agents.
The LEO-bootlicker class is really more Leftist than many Progressives because they naively believe that the power of the state will never turn against them.
