There are many stories comparing South Africa to a time bomb ready to explode from the deplorable conditions and slow genocide of the whites. The delicate situation of crime, corruption and poverty increasing throughout the land raises concern. Living under a communist government led by a president who rules over nepotism, lining his pockets and destroying everything the apartheid government built.There is the element of the South African Communist party affiliated to the governing African National Congress (ANC) who have not sidetracked from influencing the Zuma administration and turning South Africa into a one-party state.
Julius Malema kicked out of the ANC formed a new political party Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in an attempt to be voted into a position of power. Malema is surviving pretty well for a racist genocidal maniac who wants to shoot the Boer (White farmer). Encouraging racism, encouraging genocide, Malema was not in trouble for singing and inciting racial hatred that goes against the grain of the Constitution. Malema got off the hook completely for stirring up of black hate toward Afrikaners. The issue of racial hatred toward whites is not a big deal for the ruling ANC.

Some were employed by the Dutch, while others did their own thing. The Zulus who fought the British in the later half of the nineteenth century weren’t farmhands for Boers.
Years ago I heard Larry King, on his radio show, talk about how he would not be afraid to live in SA when the blacks took over.
I noticed he hasn’t started moving there yet.
It's laughable to think that story even has legs.
The historical fiction novel, The Covenant, by James Michener, was first available in 1980, when I first read it.
As far as I know, no one has seriously challenged his facts about the area when the Afrikaaners arrived. It was a deserted corner of Africa, and they made mo attempts to expand beyond their original area.
But they did attract natives from far and wide, eager to abandon their primitive uncertain existence. No one forced them to gravitate to Afrikaaner territory. They just did.
What happened after that makes for some fascinating reading.
It's been a few years since I have re-read it. I think it's time.
Julius Malema is a radical nut job. Yeah, he takes on the ANC, but it’s just a group of Communists taking on a Group of Marxists!
The DA needs to step it up or else that guy is going to further push the circus that is the SA government into a more Zimbabwe style disaster.
Another example of black governance. They are a people unable to govern themselves much less others.

the Dutch fellow was misinformed. a quick check of the latest data on murder rates shows:
2012 US murder rate = 4.7 (per 100,000 people)
2012 South Africa murder rate = 31.0 (per 100,000 people)
i can’t imagine that looking up the data on assaults or rapes will yield much different comparative results.

I totally agree with you based on my own readings, which is why I challenged this guy. Let’s face it, if this guy admitted to white people being hacked to death, would anyone want to go there on a safari?
all you really have to do to see how well informed anyone is on South Africa is to ask them to explain, to the best of their understanding, exactly why Nelson Mandela was in prison over there for all those years. he’s been deified by the MSM for the ignorant masses here in the US, but the true facts of his incarceration show that he was most definitely NOT a prisoner of conscience. i spent a lot of years biting my tongue in polite company when his name came up because most Americans had no clue about who he really was and they believed that he was some near deity just because the MSM said so. i have similar tongue biting issues when Desmond Tutu’s name is spoken aloud. ;)
