Wikileaks Exposes Obama’s Phony Trade Bill…Only 5 of 29 Chapters About Trade
Red Statements ^ | 6/01/15 | Steven Ahle

Wikileaks has gotten their hands on a copy of Obama’s phony TPP trade bill. It contains 29 chapters but only 5 pertain to trade. Wikileaks will be publishing the entire bill and they have already released the chapter on Investment. It’s very interesting. It is written in a such a way as to give multinational companies a huge advantage on trade. If a public hospital is built close to a private one, the private hospital has the right to sue the country for expected losses. That is outrageous. Here is where you can find the chapter on investment: https://wikileaks.org/tpp-investment/WikiLeaks-TPP-Investment-Chapter/page-2.html

The agreement also regulates the internet and requires internet companies to gather certain data which they will be required to share with certain private companies. Many of the provisions will not only be secret before the vote in the House, but will also be kept secret for four years after the bill is signed. That means we won’t know what’s in it even after it’s passed.

“it’s happening too fast to keep up with”

That’s the Saul Alinsky way. Keep everything in a constant state of turmoil. So much is happening, it is nigh on impossible to focus seriously on any one of them.

Every politician supporting this monstrosity should be fired.

And they should go home thankful that they only faced firing, and not a firing squad.

It’s treasonous as far as I’m concerned.

I would like to read it, but does opening the link expose you to government spying on your computer or make you end up on an NSA list?

You are already on a hundred lists. Now is the time to use your freedom or lose it forever.

TPP isn’t law yet, but it was voted on in the Senate a few days ago, just barely passing with Republican votes needed for that to happen. Research “TPP Bill” and you’ll get a sense of who supports it. The bill is real bad news, unless you support giving President Obama and corporate cheap labor interests even more power.

This bill should be dead on arrival in congress. But how much money will our congressmen rake in over the next few years if they pass it?

“I would like to read it, but does opening the link expose you to government spying on your computer or make you end up on an NSA list?”

In a word, yes. But it hardly matters. Merely being here on FR has already put you on a list, as well as most any other internet activity. And do you really think the NSA stopped spying on your email yesterday? The expiration, from what I understand, was only for BULK collection of email from servers. (Correct me if I’m wrong, please!), but your individual emails and cell phone traffic can be scrutinized just as they have been all along. Go to Google and look up the old “Omnivore”, “Carnivore”, and “Echelon” programs, though there were/are many others. Find the lists of code words to see what you have typed or said that may have gotten your messages flagged.

I don’t understand why more people don’t use encrypted VPNs and strong encryption in their internet traffic. It would put your internet presence under even more scrutiny, but it hardly matters because it is already. It might be worth it if you have nothing to hide anyway, and especially if you do! It would drive the Nanny State Authorities (NSA) nuts!

This is completely Soviet. Secret laws are passed in the dark, and when you violate those laws, you will be taken in the night, to a secret court, to be prosecuted for violating the secret law.

We are a completely failed country. It's seriously time for me to leave.
