I was questioning the poster that said something about not being a garage just because you are in church.

He was being facetious. You said having kittens in an oven doesn’t make them biscuits. (Cute, I hadn’t heard that one.) The next poster conflated two similar expressions, “Going to church doesn’t make you a saint,” and “Living in a garage doesn’t make you a car.”
