WHAT DO THESE GRADES MEASURE? For the most part, candidates are being measured by the recommendations and principles of the bi-partisan U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform which favored an immigration system that protects the interests of American wage-earners (both U.S.-born and foreign-born). Commission members were chosen by leaders of each party in the Senate and House, with Chairwoman Barbara Jordan appointed by Pres. Bill Clinton.
UPDATED WEEKLY: Every week, we add statements by candidates that modify or add texture to a candidate's stances. Then, each category rating and grade is re-calculated weekly.
WHAT ARE WE MISSING? Are you aware of statements by a candidate that we don't have, especially if they suggest a different stance than what we show? If so, send url links to us at: elections2016@numbersusa.com

Some highlights:
Only one A: Rick Santorum
Three F minuses: Joe Biden, Bernard Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren
Only one B: Scott Walker
All the rest are C's, D's, and F's.
Sorry, your post is too subtle for me. I don’t get it.
I get a lot of flak for liking Santorum. I supported him in 2012. He’s one of my top three this time. Turns out that he is the only A on this list. Don’t have to say much. Won’t say much. Just walking by and whistling.
I like a lot about Rick, but I think other candidates have other strengths.
(By the way, even though he is not my first choice, I am not going to say anything bad about him. If he should win the nomination, I will want him to win the election.)
Thanks, T. Ruth. I didn’t realize NumbersUSA had put this up. It will be interesting to see how the scorecards shape up as the candidates get more detailed questions on various immigration issues.
Hold their feet to the fire on immigration!
I liked Santorum last time around, then he started talking about needing to compromise on issues. Once he started that, his momentum disappeared.
Interesting...Rick Santorum is on my list, but he needs to come out and tell the RINOs to get lost.
These “grades” are very subjective based on which quotes they decided to cherry pick.
The website does ask for corrections:

In the interest of accuracy, you might send them your cites. I'd rather base my judgments on true and correct information.
“Only one A: Rick Santorum ..”
Good to know.
