Catholics and Protestants both have the same problem—allowing active homosexuals contact with pre-teen and teenage boys. Let that occur, sexual abuse, scandals, and massive law suits will inevitable follow. Indeed, the very existence of a wholly voluntary organization, like the Boy Scouts, that allows such contact will likely be jeopardized.
I simply don’t understand it. Communist plot, perhaps?!
As to the Boy Scouts, it could be, since allowing homosexual penetration of that wholly voluntary, and once patriotic, organization is probably the surest way imaginable way to destroy it once the inevitable scandals start to occur and proliferate.
I hope you’re not suggesting that I didn’t want sexual abuse in any of these institutions examined, are you? What I am saying, is that on FR, there is a cabal of people who would like to convince others that only Catholics abuse little boys and that it appears to be a condition of Catholic teaching...or something.
In fact it happens among Jewish Orthodox groups, boys’ prep schools through the west, among Protestant choir masters in England and America, the boy scouts, basically you name it. Let’s all examine where we went wrong.
Of course, that’s it. Destroy one of the most patriotic and American of institutions. And destroy our boys as well.

yes they have done so in the past and will continue to do so in the future...so as to mitigate the damage, we simply render the abuse acceptable and celebrate it...see, problem solved, no need to rile anyone up...

A few of these “gay teachers” “succumbed to their attraction”? Gee, that sounds like an admission that all “gays” are attracted to young boys and have to actively resist the impulse to act on it. I’m surprised they didn’t edit that out or paraphrase it instead of putting the quote in directly, because it’s pretty damning.
Some heterosexual teachers "succumb to their attraction" to their students, but it doesn't necessarily mean that all of them are sexually attracted to children.
This is not even subject to debate. Someone that has an unnatural lust for members of the same sex against a vehement and long standing social taboo against it, will not have any difficulty going against the taboo of pedophilia.
The key point here is that Homosexuals don't accept normal social behavior and they *WILL* molest boys if given the opportunity. What you have highlighted here is a tacit admission of this well known fact.
