Pretty clever idea for a cheap cardboard box using a Smart Phone against Oculus Rift ($19 versus $1500).

I can usually converge stereoimages with no aids. I found that a 3X5 card held as a barrier between my eyes, and aligned with the space between images made convergence quite easy.
That young lady is definitely three-dimensional!!

I have the 3D app on my iPhone. I love taking 3D photos.
Nobody else in the family seems to give a rip, but I’m intrigued by capturing and viewing images in 3D.

The screen cracked on my Samsung Note 2, so I grabbed my my boss’ old Note 2 which was also cracked (but not as badly). Transferred stuff to the other phone to use so I could send mine for glass replacement. While I had both cameras, I took a few full resolution stereo shots using both cameras at once with voice command. Pulled in the images to my desktop and displayed both on my twin 20” monitors, one image on each.
Was kinda neat.

I can usually converge stereoimages with no aids. I place an index finger just to the side of each eye, and knudge the skin back towards my ears. That pulls the eyes enough to create a converged image in the center of the originals (you'll see three images). Shift the individual fingers up or down to fully merge the images.
